Michael Jefferson is a freelance illustrator from Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. Between commissioned work, Michael enjoys illustrating a variety of subjects, drawing inspiration from the glamour of fashion and the pleasures of food and drink, to the beauty of the natural world. His work often has a clean and contemporary feel, which lends itself to any subject matter. He works mostly with pencil, watercolour, collage and digital media with an energetic loose style. A bit of a geek, Michael works from his home studio with sci-fi on the TV and his trusty companion and critic Spyro the bearded dragon sitting on his shoulder.
