Louise Boulter is an illustrator who works and lives by the sea in Bournemouth. She has degree in Fine Art Painting and Drawing and has been working as an illustrator for 6 years. She started her career as a fashion illustrator where she began to experiment and found her style. Since then she has worked for a wide rage of clients illustrating prosthetic limbs to knitwear. She has a regular editorial slot, and her work can be found on book covers, advertising and she has found her place illustrating within the female comedy circuit. Recently she has discovered a new passion for creating GIFs enjoying the magical process of bringing her characters to life. Louise is very much inspired by people and their sometimes-comical idiosyncrasies. She sketches her daily sightings and uses them as reference material. She works in ink first and re-works digitally
