Bárbara's style of work is varied, but always finds itself right between the monstruous vs. the civilized, animal vs. human, identity vs. behaviour. Ink is usually her weapon of choice, allied with digital colours. She also writes (and illustrates) children's books and comics, which she publishes through independent fanzines. Among her clients are Diário de Notícias newspaper, Gerador and H-Alt magazines (portuguese), P&G, ManMan Pemba and Seamless Medical. She's currently a resident artist on The Lisbon Studio - the best illustration hub in town.
